Since the start of the term our communications lead Mrs Stevenson has been very busy at the academy, working with staff and spending time with our pupils. It’s been really productive!
She says: “As our communication lead, I’m very passionate about this role and I work very closely with the speech and language team. This is a key focus for our pupils and the academy so I am excited to support Redgate Primary in moving forward in this area.
This term we launched our communication coffee mornings for parents and carers to come and have a chat and a cuppa! We can discuss any support you feel you may need at home with regards to your child’s communication, for just come for a chat. If you have any ideas on other informal events we could hold around communication I’d love to hear feedback!
