Following the offer of a place by the Integrated Children’s Disability Service (ICDS), we will put in place a transition plan for your child.

Our core offer

The class teacher will visit the child in their education setting (or home setting if applicable) to gather initial background information, they will also arrange 3 transition visits

  1. One hour visit to their new class, accompanied by a familiar staff member
  2. One hour visit into their class, separated from familiar staff member (familiar staff member may wait in staff room)
  3. A morning or afternoon with the teacher in class, unaccompanied by a familiar staff member
