In a wonderful display of school spirit, Redgate Primary Academy recently held its whole-school Jolly Jog or Walk fundraising event. The event saw children arriving in comfortable clothing, with some even embracing the fun by dressing as superheroes and princesses.
Children participated by walking or jogging laps around the field, with some opting for a more challenging route, running and sprinting multiple laps. It was an impressive effort from all involved, with every child contributing to the day’s success.
A special thank you goes to our fantastic school council and Lorraine for their brilliant efforts organising the event. We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to our supportive parents and carers, whose generosity in sponsoring the children made this event possible. The funds raised will be allocated to each class to purchase sensory and fidget items, essential tools to support the learning and wellbeing of our pupils.
This event was a wonderful example of our school community coming together for a great cause, and we are proud of the children’s achievements and the support shown by all.
