Can you help our pupils? On Sunday 3 November, a group of intrepid Redgate Primary Academy staff and supporters (pictured here) will be taking on the Dovedale Dash to raise funds that will go towards building a new trim trail here at the academy to improve the outdoor facilities for our children.

The race is a 4¾ mile cross country run through the muddy fields and freezing rivers of Derbyshire, culminating in a punishing hill finish! The team are adding to the challenge by donning fancy dress too… the theme is yet to be decided, but we’re open to suggestions!

If you are able to sponsor the team and support the children at Redgate we would be delighted. Our target is £5,000, so anything you can spare to get us to this figure will be very much appreciated. Click here to visit our Justgiving page.

The trim trail will enhance our ability to work with pupils outside. With growing numbers of pupils using the shared outdoor areas, we need more outdoor equipment to provide vital structured movement and exercise to benefit all children.

Thanks in advance for your support, and good luck to our team!
