Did you know that some parents and carers can access free training on subjects like autism, and children and young people’s mental health?
The AIM Group offers fully-funded training to anyone over the age of 19 who is not currently undertaking another government funded qualification.*
Each course takes approximately six weeks to complete and you can expect to do between 15 to 30 hours of work, depending on the qualification.
Popular courses include:
- Understanding Autism
- Adverse Childhood Experiences
- Children and Young People’s Mental Health
At the end of the course, you will receive a Level Two VRQ (vocationally recognised qualification) in your chosen subject. The courses are free of charge but if you don’t complete the training then you will be charged an administration fee by the provider.
You will need a computer or laptop to undertake the course, and you will be expected to complete a question and answer style workbook in weeks three and six with support from your tutor.
Find out more and register online before the deadline of Monday 7 December here. If you have any questions, please contact Alex Sweetland from the AIM Group: alex.sweetland@theaimgroup.co.uk.
*You must have the right to work in the UK, and have been in the EU/UK for the past three years.
