We were joined at Redgate Primary Academy this afternoon by Diverse Academies CEO, Chris Pickering, for a very special farewell assembly.
Mr Pickering is due to retire in May and he joined us to say goodbye to our pupils and staff, speaking to them about his plans to spend more time gardening and travelling! We presented Chris with a card and book made by the Redgate children, and he posed for photos with our pupils.
We wish him the very best in his retirement and hope to see him back at Redgate Primary as a visitor in the future.
