We have had a spooktacular time enjoying a range of Halloween activities, with plenty of opportunities to explore, get creative and have fun together.
One of our highlights was visiting the pumpkin farm for some pumpkin picking. We loved exploring the field, looking at pumpkins of all different shapes and sizes, and discovering the Halloween displays. Once we had chosen our pumpkins, we got creative by either carving or painting them. It was lovely to see everyone exploring the pumpkins together and sharing the experience with their friends.
We also enjoyed some Halloween-inspired face painting, with plenty of colourful creations along the way. Two of our children even had the chance to visit Claire in her office to give her a Halloween makeover. We have also explored making our own pumpkins, creating spooky potions, apple bobbing and listening to a Halloween story.
Throughout the week we showed determination as we tried something new and encouraged our friends to have a go too. There was lots of cheering and support, making it a great opportunity to practise teamwork and celebrate each other’s efforts.
Of course, Halloween would not be complete without trick-or-treating. We visited Claire and the office staff to collect some treats, which we were delighted to take home in our bags.
