We had an amazing day celebrating World Book Day!
The children read and talked eagerly about their favourite books, listened intently as staff read stories aloud, created their own bookmarks and showed off their amazing World Book Day costumes. We even brought some story book characters to life by creating our own super veggies inspired by the book ‘Supertato’.
It was a wonderful day across the whole school, and it was lovely to see the children so happy and enthusiastic about reading!
Recently we have also been busy in the allotment and have decided that spring has officially sprung! We got to work preparing the soil, carefully planting the seeds and finished by giving them a generous drink of water. We can’t wait to see the progress the allotment makes over the next few months and we are looking forward to spending more time outside as the days get brighter!
