It has been a December full of non-stop festive fun here at Redgate Primary Academy.
Throughout the month we have been busy with lots of craft activities such as creating Christmas decorations, writing letters to Santa and decorating biscuits.
We have also learnt a lot about the meaning of Christmas. We had some lovely visitors from the local church to share the Christmas story and we loved every minute. We also talked about the tradition of Christingle and to celebrate we made our own Christingles in class.
Each one of our Christmas activities such as the Christmas lunch and the Santa treasure hunt have been thoroughly enjoyed by the children, but we especially loved the Christmas events where we could dress up, dance and play with tinsel.
